Event statuses

An event's status controls whether sailors can see it and records where it is in its life. You set it on the event's edit screen, on the Basic tab, in the Status field.
| Status | Meaning | What sailors see |
|---|---|---|
| DRAFT | The event is being set up. Every event starts here. | Nothing. A draft is visible only to club officials until it is published. |
| PUBLISHED | The event is live. | The event, which they can find and sign on to. |
| CANCELLED | The event will not now take place. | A published event stays visible, marked cancelled. |
| COMPLETED | The event has finished. | A published event stays visible, marked completed. |
| ABANDONED | The event started but did not finish, for example because of the weather. | A published event stays visible, marked abandoned. |
